UPspy

UPspy offers several features:

1. Find (muted) device
- if an SMS containing the configured code followed by the suffix 'a' (alarm) is received, then the configured alarm is triggered even when the device is muted
- if an SMS containing the configured code followed by the suffix 'l' (location) is received, then the current position/location of the device is uploaded to the loc-UNIT of the USER as defined as postion in his idy-UNIT
- if an SMS containing the configured code (without suffix) is received, then both features are executed

2. Theft
If an SMS containing the configured code followed by the suffix 's' (stolen) is received, then the device is set to stolen-mode. In this mode every interaction (by the thief) that results in a screen-on (eg switch off the device to prevent tracking), triggers the front camera and uploads the image along with the current position to a new loc-UNIT (q=<current time in seconds>).

3. Roadbook
You can take photos with the front camera, which are then uploaded along with the respective position as a new loc-Unit.

Installation

UPspy can only be installed via UPstore.

RCS (Rich Communication Services) is a modern messaging standard that replaces the classic SMS on smartphones. However, it is technically not possible to receive RCS messages via UPspy. To send SMS instead of RCS messages a change in Google Messages may be necessary:

Google Messages App: Profile(Button) -> Messages-Setup -> RCS-Chats -> Activate/OFF
